1. About Us

Plantking ("we", "us", "our") is an online and physical plant nursery based in Centurion, South Africa, selling plants, soil, pots, and related products.

2. Orders and Availability

• All orders are subject to product availability. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you and offer a substitute, refund, or delay.
• Plants are living products and may show natural variation in size, colour, and shape from the photos shown on the website.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or pricing errors.

3. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
• Payment is processed through our approved third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Orders are only confirmed and processed once payment has been received and verified.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• We aim to dispatch orders within 3–5 working days of payment confirmation. Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed, and may be affected by courier delays, weather, or stock availability. See our Shipping Policy for details.
• Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. We take reasonable care in packaging live plants but cannot guarantee against all transit stress.

5. Plant Health Guarantee

• We inspect all plants for health before dispatch.
• If a plant arrives visibly damaged, diseased, or dead due to our packaging or handling, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we will offer a replacement, credit, or refund at our discretion.
• This guarantee does not cover damage caused by post-delivery neglect, incorrect care, pests introduced after delivery, or normal transplant shock/leaf drop that resolves with proper care.

6. Returns and Refunds

• Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we do not accept returns for change of mind on plant products.
• Non-plant products (pots, soil, tools, accessories) may be returned unused and in original packaging within 14 days for a refund or exchange.
• Refunds, where approved, will be processed back to the original payment method within 7 business days.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plantking is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website, including plant loss after delivery due to care, environment, or conditions outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African consumer protection law (including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008).

8. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
